S&D Flooring Specialists have been supplying and installing a huge range of Domestic and Commercial flooring products to public and private clients since May 2008. Primarily our commercial portfolio has extended from Scotland to the South East of England, and many major cities situated in between. Whereas a majority of our domestic work is carried out in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.

We are an independent and award-winning flooring contractor that offers a unique and tailored supply and installation service to all our clients. S&D Flooring Ltd is committed to maintaining high standards throughout every aspect of its operations, from the products we install to the individuals we employ. All our installers receive continuous training and development opportunities to ensure that our practices are up-to-date and meet the expectations of our clients.

Drawing on our strong working relationships with suppliers and leading manufacturers we are able to supply a wide range of floor finishes – from broadloom and carpet tiles to resilient LVT and Vinyl that replicate the aesthetics of natural wood and stone. We can also take care of sub-floor preparations, raised access floors and hygienic wall and ceiling finishes.

All our installers and apprentices are fully qualified floor layers, or are currently working towards their NVQs respectfully, have undertaken regular health and safety training which includes, but not limited to: Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling, Fire Safety, Face Fit and are fully police checked (CRB).

Subfloor Preparations

It is a fact that the longevity of a flooring installation is dependent on the quality of the subfloor. As a result, S&D Flooring will always carryout subfloor preparations if required.

Uplift, Removal and Disposal

All of our installers are fully trained in uplifting and removing existing flooring safely. Furthermore all waste flooring from a project is recycled to minimise our environmental impact.

Recofloor

All waste vinyl and off-cuts generated from projects is recycled using the Recofloor Vinyl Take Back Scheme. Since starting the scheme we have saved over 20 tonnes from going to landfill.
